Utmost care is taken in every step to deliver the product with high quality and more Eco-Friendly.

Testing Process:

SVF coco peat has an in-house lab and take occasional Testing Help from SGS labs for testing for Micro biological presence.

The Electrical conductivity is Monitored right in the Washing Process itself at Different Washing Yards.

The Testing Process at SVF coco peat, includes High Sampling rate at about 10 Samples per 100 Square feet of washing Yard taken at different depths ranging from top layer to about 2 1/2 Feet deep. A sample is taken for every 1/2 feet depth. The Ariel sketch of the Washing yard is Mapped to Every sample and a data log for samples in maintained.

This Process ensures the uniformity of testing all over the SVF coco peat’s Yards. During washing process (10 Hour wash cycle / 800 Sq Feet for material), Each day about 20 samples per 800 Sq Feet is taken to ensure proper washing and to Reduce the Water usage in turn saving the extra costs in water usage and Power, Hence making the Testing Process help the SVF Coco peat to ensure the quality and being low in resource consumption meaning less carbon footprint, Helps to Keep our product more Eco Friendly and Green.

At SVF coco peat, We use the testing procedure as directed by USDA, USA and as stated by ASTM D1125 – 95 (2009) standards. All testing of samples for Electrical Conductivity are performed only in Laboratory conditions only ensuring High standards of Testing.

Testing Tools used:

All the Testing tools used are from Reputed Testing Equipment manufacturers like Cole Parmer, Hanna etc. We use Desktop Model of testing equipments and all the equipments are calibrated for accuracy after every 30 tests. Hence highest level of accuracy of data is maintained so that SVF coco peat never faces surprises in material quality.

The personnel at yards have the testing tools for testing the Moisture.

Quality Manufacturing Process :

At SVF Coco peat, Only Dry Low EC coir pith enters the manufacturing facility. This ensures only the Product-able material is handled inside the facility and the Non Product-able material is kept at a minimum of 500 Meters away from the SVF coco peat, Compressed Block Manufacturing facility.

The Next level of Quality process comes in where the coir pith is treated like a mechanical assembly part and is moved and handled as in production line. The raw material enters in a Conveyor belt which is fed only to the 6mm Sieving Machine and then fed to the Block making machine. No Human intervention is done after the coir pith material enters the First Input Conveyor, Making all the blocks have the same coir pith material with same physical property across the product.

All the personnel involved in the manufacturing process Knows the Usage of the product and the quality process followed to ensure reliability in quality.

We do Pasteurize the coir pith material for our special product line EnerGsoil.
